Based on an Athletic story from Shannon Russell and a couple of other sources ran across. Gary is in fact not injured but it's from surgery in April. It was his ankle and he's rehabbing. . He is out for Summer League. I hope that doesn't hurt him come roster time. Rockets lost a forward in Trevor Ariza in Free agency and Capela the starting center is a restricted free agent. They will apparently be signing Carmelo Anthony as soon as he officially parts ways with OKC.

Very good article on Gary from Houston's beat writer. Sounds like Gary knows that he has a great opportunity and is looking to take full advantage of it. I'm impressed with the Rocket's coaching staff and they're commitment to developing their players.
Gary Clark faces an uphill climb to try to become a factor for the Rockets. He spoke to The Athletic about what he's doing to make that climb and why he thinks Houston will be a force this season.
