Olympic Trials for T&F are up, starting tomorrow 6/21. Alumni Loretta Blaut will be competing in the high jump and Annette Echikunwoke will be competing in the hammer throw event.
Echikunwoke, if you remember, qualified for the Nigerian Olympic team in 2020 and was disqualified from competition along with most of the Nigerian contingent because the Nigerian athletic federation didn't turn in drug test results and file paperwork in time. I'd love to see her qualify for the US and do well in Paris. She deserves it. She is the current African record holder in the hammer throw.Brent Wyrick

A pair of Cincinnati track and field standouts will be showcasing their talents in Paris during the 2024 Olympic Games.
Graduate student Naquille Harris and former Bearcat and current volunteer coach Chris Borzor qualified for the 100m event. Harris will run for St. Kitts & Nevis, while Borzor will represent the Republic of Haiti.
