the man was a public paid employee. With that comes public scrutiny. I wonder if we really do pray for folks. My earnest desire is that he does receive the help that he needs and that is closely associated with prayer to God for him. Without God a wretched life is all there really can be in the end. Bret it is big news when one is dismissed especially one who many considered our best player. look we still talk about Art Long today both the horse and tying up a guy and other things. But yes, concerning the team, I say go on.I do believe they are better off with both ball hogs gone. For the individual, I believe hsi family has the resources to get him help. That and with real praying for him.

Time will tell if we're btter off or not. It's concerning to say the least. The entire team is gone from last year, except for Thomas and a couple reserves who never saw the floor.
Another question that never been asked or answered! Why couldn't Wes keep a promising team with talent together?

One of those reserves is Tyler McKinley, a top 50 recruit with big guy skills. If he’s healthy he can add a lot. We need to get used to guys leaving, from now on we may never see anybody stay all 4 years.Originally posted by BearKatz View Post

Rufus clear out your message center --- it is saying I can't send you a message as your's is full.Originally posted by Rufus View PostWith the climate of collegiate sports today, a complete turnover is going to be the norm. It is unfortunate but is what it is. As much as I anticipate seeing the new recruits I really look to see McKinley ball out.

Actually this could explain some of the bad chemistry on the team. My 40 years in medicine informs me that substance abuser equals a liar. They can't be trusted and will take advantage of their relationships and leave disaster in their wake.No wonder the program seemedto be in freefall! You can't blame Wes for that.Wether or not you blame Jizzle depends on your view of substance abuse. The current view is that it is an illness that needs treatment. No need to sweep it under the rug.I think it's healthy to discuss these things rationally.
